Jacqueline (Jackie) Calderón Perl is a Policy and Project Manager for Oakland Thrives. Jackie also serves as the By All Means Community Lead for Oakland. Prior to joining Oakland Thrives, Jackie was a Project Manager with the Youth Ventures Joint Powers Authority where she supported the Education Impact Table. Previously, Jacqueline worked for the Oakland Unified School District, where she served as a 2nd grade bilingual teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and principal. Jacqueline is a Teach for America and New Leaders Alumnus. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Global & International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. Jacqueline lives in San Leandro with her husband, who works in affordable housing, their two sons (4 years old & 1 year old) and their tabby cat, Lexie.
